Growing up in a family of eight, there were always many hungry mouths to feed. Dinner preparation each night quickly became my favorite part of the day. Helping my mother prepare a healthy meal centered around whole foods every evening instilled in me a deep passion for cooking, experimenting in the kitchen, and feeding other people.

Now many years later, cooking has become my meditation, my way of de-stressing after a long day, and my gift to the world.

My hope for this blog is that it inspires you to cook with passion and courage, to not be afraid of trying unique ingredient combinations, and to realize that healthy, whole food truly can heal the body and the soul.
